The brazilian music site Tracklist posted about The Narrative's last song "Chasing a Feeling" release for the brazilian valentines day 'delayed' post. The site wrote a lovely review of the song saying that "The track "Chasing a Feeling" shows a couple super in love that makes '(...) their lives worth living (...)".

The brazilian biggest Lyric site Vagalume reviewed The Narrative's last song "Chasing a Feeling" release. The website wrote that "the romantic song talks about moving on with life even if you are not ready for it, pointing out that even the most difficult moments also pass." O duo de indie pop e folk The Narrative divulgou nesta terça-feira (3) sua nova música, intitulada "Chasing a Feeling".

Segundo a vocalista Suzie Zeldin, a romântica canção fala sobre seguir em frente com a vida mesmo que você não esteja pronto para isso, ressaltando que até os momentos mais difíceis também passam.

Formado atualmente por Jesse Gabriel e Suzie Zeldin, o The Narrative é de Nova Iorque e está em atividade desde 2008. Eles já possuem alguns EPs e um álbum homônimo lançado em 2010, que lhes rendeu destaque nas redes sociais MySpace e PureVolume como uma das bandas independentes do ano.

The site/magazine American Songwriter reviewed and premiered The Narrative's new song "Chasing a Feeling". The band posted on Instagram some teasers for the song release and it's finally here. Songwriter Says: “‘Chasing a Feeling’ is about accepting that life keeps moving forward, whether or not you’re ready for it. Being indecisive doesn’t stop everything around you from changing, and getting swept up in a really difficult moment in your life can feel endless but eventually it passes. It’s about time, how you spend it, and how it eventually brings you clarity and comfort.

Jesse [Gabriel] and I have a really supportive and collaborative writing process. This song in particular started on piano with a melody and a lyric. From there, we put together a drum machine beat and started exploring the feel of the song. We knew for this song we wanted a certain kind of guitar riff, and this is one of the first times we really focused on that jointly. Once we get a song in a good place, we invite some talented friends of ours to come play drums and bass and build the song more off of that collective energy.”
